BOOKING PROCESS
In order to make an appointment, I must first collect a non-refundable, non-transferable booking fee of $100 per appointment, if it is a large project $300. My minimum is $100, so no tattoo will be less than that. Please do not submit a booking fee unless I have agreed to take on the appointment. This booking fee ensures you show up and I am compensated in the event you do not. I do charge by piece for smaller projects and hourly for large projects. My hourly rate is $160/hour.
The fee is applied to the cost of the tattoo on the day that it is completed unless there is a less than 48-hour reschedule, a cancelation (at any time), a no-show, if you show up without a government issued ID, you reschedule more than 2 times regardless of notice, you fail to reschedule within 30 days of the initial appointment or if you are more than 30 minutes late to your appointment. In those cases, the fee will be forfeit. I’ll need a new booking fee to reschedule your appointment. If you are late for your appointment, you will be charged from the time of the scheduled appointment. For multi-session tattoos, the fee will be held as payment towards the last session of the tattoo.
If I need to reschedule in the event of an emergency, inclement weather or other scheduling conflicts every effort will be made to reschedule as soon as possible. Emergencies are unforeseen and unavoidable. If for some reason you choose to not reschedule, that is considered a cancellation and the booking fee will be forfeited.
When a booking fee is forfeited this is why:
If there is a need to reschedule, I need to schedule someone else in that opening. If I only have a day or two to book it’s usually not possible. If the appointment opening isn’t booked due to lack of time or someone not showing up it leaves me with hours of time that should have been working time. Since I only get paid when I am tattooing I lose out on any chance of income during that time.
If the appointment is simply canceled and not rescheduled I need to get paid for the time I spent consulting and drawing. If the tattoo is never done then I have spent that time without any compensation.
No drawings or drafts are emailed to clients before their scheduled appointment time. If I draw a design for you and you decide to change the subject matter of the tattoo then I'll need to collect another booking fee. Additionally, if there are more than 3 changes or adjustments made to the drawing another fee is needed. The previous fee will be used to compensate me for my drawing time. What if you don’t like the drawing? We will reschedule and an additional booking fee will be needed.
